The Jimmy Butler trade drama has been the major NBA headline over the past month or so and we still have no idea whether he'll stay put or end up somewhere else. However, that doesn't seem to have an impact on his All-Star odds.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds, Jimmy Butler is still favored to make the All-Star team with -135 odds.
A little over a coin-flip chance seems about right at first glance. After all, Butler is an incredibly talented player that's made it to the All-Star Game each of the past four seasons. However, FanDuel might want to adjust their betting line, if his latest performance in practice is any indication.
Reports coming out of T-Wolves camp said that Butler teamed up with the third-stringers and beat Minnesota's starting lineup in a practice scrimmage.
That's definitely no small feat. I wonder how sore his back is after all that, with him carrying his team and all.
Whether he stays put or gets shipped out of Minnesota, I think it's safe to say that Butler is pretty much a lock to make the All-Star Game, barring any injuries, of course. Place your bets with confidence, folks.
