Week 6 of the NFL season is upon us and one of the league's best rivalries will take center stage Thursday night when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New York Giants. Both teams are equally desperate for a win, and the NFC East race is still up for grabs as the division-leading Washington Redskins are atop the bunch, despite owning a .500 record.
Game Info: Philadelphia Eagles (2-3) at New York Giants (1-4)
Metlife Stadium - East Rutherford, NJ
- Time: 8:20 p.m. EST
- Weather: 70 percent chance of thunderstorms at kickoff
Meanwhile, thunderstorms expected around East Rutherford, NJ central to MetLife Stadium where the #Giants pivotal matchup against the Eagles is taking place today from 11am to midnight, according to https://t.co/J78XpJifOC. Odds: According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Eagles head to MetLife Stadium as 1-point favorites and are moneyline favorites at -116. The Giants are -102 on the moneyline while the over/under total sits at 43.5.
The Eagles currently have the NFL's No.1 rushing defense, allowing 42.2 yards per game and opposing running backs are scoring the second-fewest FanDuel fantasy points per game against them.
On Sunday, against the Carolina Panthers, the Giants reached the 30-point mark for the first time in 36 games.

First Touchdown of the Game: Odell Beckham Jr. (+650)
The Eagles have been getting absolutely torched by No. 1 wide receivers and are allowing the third-most FanDuel fantasy points per game to wideouts overall. Despite all the grumbling heard around New York, Odell Beckham Jr. is still producing at an elite rate. He finally reached the end zone Sunday, and I'd expect the Giants to get him involved early and often.

Saquon Barkley: Under 63.5 Rushing Yards (-124)
We mentioned the Eagles have the NFL's No. 1 rushing defense -- well, let's get down to the nuts and bolts. No individual running back has rushed for more than 50 yards against Philadelphia this season. I doubt a rookie on a short week will be the first to do so.

Zach Ertz: Over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-124)
The Giants are allowing the third-fewest FanDuel fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. But when you look at the players they've faced, it's easy to see why. Ertz has been a terror on the Giants, grabbing at least six catches in four of the last five meetings -- in three of those games, he had at least eight catches. Truth is, he big tight end could potentially lead the Eagles in receiving tonight.
