Greg Olsen was upgraded to full in Thursday's practice, pointing to a Week 6 return for the Carolina Panthers tight end. He hasn't played since Week 1, but things seem to be trending in the right direction for his availability on Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

Barring a setback, Olsen will be out there as a much-needed weapon for a Panthers team desperate for help in the passing game. Quarterback Cam Newton has been patient, but through four games the only Panthers player with more than 20 catches is running back Christian McCaffrey.

It's best to have limited expectations with Olsen as he's on the back nine of his career. This latest foot injury isn't good for the long term since it's a repeat injury and something that can certainly linger for a while. But if he's out there, Olsen remains a low-end TE1.
