In this weekend's NFL Divisional Round game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New Orleans Saints, are you siding with the incredible run of a folk hero in Nick Foles, or the best team in football this season in Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints? There are plenty of ways to cash in on this matchup, and one is prop bets, available on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Here are three of the best prop bets for the Eagles matchup with the Saints on Sunday.
3. Home Team (New Orleans): Under 30 Points (-106)
As great as the Saints' offense has been this year, they haven't been as great when it comes to hitting the over. They're third in points per game, but that hasn't translated into successfully besting the over in just seven of their 16 games, 22nd best in the NFL. Don't let this high-scoring offense fool you, considering this improved Eagles defense has given up 30 points just once in their last seven games.
2. Philadelphia Eagles +8.5 & Under 50.5 Points (+260)
Nick Foles has enough magic in him to at least cover the spread this week. As noted above, the Saints have struggled to hit the over this season and the Eagles are averaging 28 points per game since Foles took over at QB for Carson Wentz. The Eagles should be good enough to cover as Foles has been too magical to lose by more than a touchdown.
1. Halftime Result/Fulltime Result: Philadelphia Eagles/New Orleans Saints (+700)
The Saints could start out sluggish and reasonably so. Brees, Alvin Kamara and the team's other top stars haven't played football in two weeks, thanks to head coach Sean Payton's decision to bench some of his starters in the final week of the regular season. Only the Chiefs have done a better job scoring in the second half of games this year with New Orleans putting up 16 points per game after intermission. Foles and Co. could be riding high early, but you have to trust Brees to close it out at the Superdome.
